Legendary Fuji music artiste, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM 1 has created an unforgettable moment at his New Year concert on January 1, 2025, by honoring his longest-serving band member, Fatai Oluperi Ayinla, with a whopping ₦20 million gift.
The heartfelt gesture took place during the ‘New Year Dance’ event at the Balmoral Convention Center, Sheraton Ikeja, Lagos.
KWAM 1 expressed deep gratitude to Ayinla for his unwavering loyalty and invaluable contributions to the band’s success over the years.
As the audience erupted into cheers, KWAM 1 presented the substantial cash gift, recognizing Ayinla’s role in the band’s remarkable journey. The emotional scene was met with applause and admiration from the crowd.
In a further show of appreciation, renowned Nollywood actor and producer of Seven Doors, Femi Adebayo, added to the celebration by donating ₦500,000 to Ayinla as a token of his respect for the veteran band member’s dedication.
