Anglican cleric Canon Olowolagba, who was kidnapped alongside his wife and two children, has regained freedom.
The family was abducted last Sunday along the Ise Akoko-Iboropa road in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State. The kidnappers had reportedly demanded a ransom of ₦10 million for their release.
Details surrounding their release remain unclear as of the time of this report.
However, the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the development on Saturday.
“The pastor and family have been released,” Adeleye stated briefly.
