BREAKING: Dangote Refinery reduces petrol price to N899 per litre

Must read

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a significant reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre.

This decision, disclosed in a statement on Thursday morning, aims to provide relief to Nigerians during the festive season.

The statement, signed by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, highlighted that the refinery previously reduced the price to N970 per litre on November 24. The latest adjustment reflects the company’s commitment to easing transport costs and supporting consumers during the holidays.

“As part of our efforts to alleviate the burden of transport costs, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery is offering PMS at a discounted price of N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or Single Point Mooring (SPM). Additionally, customers purchasing fuel on a cash basis can access one extra litre on credit, facilitated through bank guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank,” Chiejina said.

The refinery also expressed its gratitude to Nigerians for their continued patronage and assured the public of its dedication to delivering premium-quality petroleum products. These products, the statement emphasized, are competitively priced, environmentally friendly, and designed to enhance engine performance.

Furthermore, the company reiterated its commitment to ending Nigeria’s reliance on substandard imported fuel, which has posed risks to health, machinery, and the environment.

With a daily refining capacity of 650,000 barrels, the Dangote Refinery is the world’s largest single-train refinery. It is designed to meet 100% of Nigeria’s domestic refined petroleum needs, with excess capacity available for export.
