The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin has urged Edo indigenes residing in Ibadanland to continue to be law abiding.
The traditional ruler gave this charge during the courtesy visit paid to the monarch at his palace located at Oke Aremo in Ibadan on Monday.
The Olubadan who was represented by Ekefa Balogun of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Raifu Amusa Eleruwere, appreciated the Edo people for paying the courtesy visit.
He urged the Edo indigenes in Ibadanland to continue with their normal businesses without fear.
The leader of Edo indigenes living in Ibadanland, Chief Joseph Saliu congratulated the monarch for ascending the throne of his Fathers hale and hearty.
Saliu said that the delegates of Edo people had stayed in Ibadan for over 40 years where they had produced business leaders and professionals.
He commended the traditional ruler for allowing peaceful co -existence to reign supreme in the ancient city.
