Nollywood Actress and producer, Ruth Kadiri, has slammed fellow movie producers over pressures they mount on actors.
She made this known in relation to generating views on the YouTube platform.
Kadiri, who is one of the pioneers of using YouTube to distribute movies, noted that producers now pressure their actors to generate one million views within a day of uploading their movies on YouTube.
She urged actors not to feel pressured and allow these producers rob them of their joy.
Kadiri also stated that having a million views is not the standard for success or failure.
She wrote; DEAR NOLLYWOOD ACTORS!!! TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR SHOULDER!!!
ANY PRODUCER WHO REQUIRES ONE MILLION VIEWS FROM YOU IN ONE DAY HAS FAILED! A GOOD PRODUCTION REQUIRES MORE THAN YOUR FACE!
ONE MILLION VIEWS IS NOT A STANDARD OF SUCCESS NOR!
