Former Reps member, Farouk Lawan calls incarceration test from God

Must read

Farouk Lawan, the former member of the House of Representatives recently released from prison in October, made his first visit to his constituency, Bagwai/Shanono Federal Constituency.

During the visit, he described his time in prison as a test from God, which taught him valuable lessons about life.

Dressed in a red cap bearing the insignia of the Kwankwasiyya movement, led by Rabiu Kwankwaso, Lawan was warmly welcomed by the district head, Shehu Ahmed.

Accompanied by his supporters, he emphasized that his visit was not politically motivated.

Instead, he came to express gratitude to the community for their support during his difficult years of incarceration.

Lawan compared his experience to the biblical story of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), who overcame adversity and rose to prominence after his imprisonment, suggesting that his own journey could follow a similar path of redemption and resilience.
