PDP BoT Chair criticizes Tinubu’s policies, says Nigerians sinking deeper Into poverty

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Adolphus Wabara, has criticized the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing them of exacerbating poverty and hardship across the country.

Wabara made the remarks during an emergency meeting of the PDP Board of Trustees held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Abuja.

He expressed concern over the rising cost of living and the negative impact of the administration’s economic reforms, which he argued have been poorly implemented and are worsening the plight of millions of Nigerians.

“The skyrocketing cost of living, coupled with poorly implemented economic reforms, has pushed millions into deeper poverty,” Wabara lamented.

The PDP BoT chair called on party members to remain united, urging them to set aside personal ambitions and prioritize the party’s collective vision for the country.

He emphasized that unity within the PDP is critical to presenting a credible alternative to the current administration.

“We cannot afford to let personal ambitions or differences overshadow our shared vision for a better Nigeria,” Wabara said.
