The Nigerian Senate is set to examine the disputed Tax Reform Bill in collaboration with the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF).
The discussion is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, in Abuja.
Leading the committee in charge of the bill’s review is Senator Anna Moro, accompanied by other members of the team.
They are slated to engage with the AGF to address key issues surrounding the tax reform, which has sparked widespread debate nationwide.
Deputy Senate President Senator Barau, who chaired Wednesday’s plenary, confirmed the AGF’s planned meeting with the committee.
He emphasized that all stakeholders would have an opportunity to express their concerns before the session concludes with well-informed decisions and actionable recommendations.
