The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has assured Nigerians that the current challenges of hunger and insecurity facing the nation will soon be addressed under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Wike gave the assurance on Tuesday, December 3, during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of the 9.8-kilometer Kabusa-Takushara access road in Abuja.
He emphasized that President Tinubu is working tirelessly to combat hunger and restore security across the country.
Wike also called on Nigerians to exercise patience as the government implements its plans to lead the nation toward progress and stability.
“The government is committed to fulfilling its promises,” Wike stated. “One of those promises is to construct roads and provide streetlights in rural areas. I assure you that this project will be completed within six to seven months.”
The Kabusa-Takushara road project is part of the administration’s broader efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for citizens, especially in underserved areas.
