The federal government has introduced a complimentary Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) bus service in Abuja to help reduce transportation expenses for citizens.
Operations for the CNG buses began on December 2, 2024, as highlighted in a video shared by the Presidential CNG Initiative on its official X account (formerly Twitter).
These buses are set to operate along major routes, including areas like Mararaba, Eagle Square, and Berger bus stop.
Officials announced that the service will remain free for passengers for 40 days, concluding on January 6, 2025.
