APC will take over Rivers in 2027- New Chairman

Tony Okocha, the newly elected chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has expressed confidence that the party will take control of the state in the 2027 elections.

Speaking during his acceptance speech following his election, Okocha described the successful congress as evidence of the APC’s unity and organizational strength. He dismissed critics’ claims that the party could not conduct peaceful elections, insisting that the APC is poised for greater victories.

“Those who said APC cannot conduct elections lied. APC will conduct and win elections, taking charge of governance in Rivers State,” Okocha stated.

He further assured party members and supporters of the APC’s commitment to bringing positive change to the state.

“Our mission, with your support, is to uproot the current rudderless government in Rivers State. By 2027, God willing, we will win the election and ensure APC takes over the reins of governance in Rivers State,” Okocha declared.
