Senator Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto South has extended warm birthday wishes to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on his 78th birthday.
In his message, Tambuwal praised Atiku for his significant contributions to Nigeria’s progress, highlighting his leadership as a symbol of hope, resilience, and dedicated service to the nation.
Tambuwal commended Atiku’s vision, statesmanship, and steadfast dedication to democratic principles, which, according to him, have profoundly shaped Nigeria’s political environment.
The senator also acknowledged Atiku’s efforts in promoting national unity, driving economic reforms, and enhancing governance, noting that these actions continue to inspire many Nigerians.
He said, “On behalf of myself and my family, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency, @atiku, GCON (Wazirin Adamawa), former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion of his 78th birthday.
“Your Excellency, as you celebrate this significant milestone, it is an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable contributions you have made to the growth and development of our great nation.
“Your leadership has been a beacon of hope, resilience, and selfless service to the people of Nigeria. Through your vision, statesmanship, and unwavering commitment to democratic values, you have left an indelible mark on our political landscape.

It is worth remembering that Tambuwal had stepped down from the 2022 presidential primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in support of Atiku, a move that played a key role in Atiku’s success in the primary election.
