The naira strengthened on Tuesday at the official market, trading at N1,678.93 to the dollar, marking a recovery from a three-day losing streak.
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform, the naira gained N11.44, reflecting a 0.67% increase from the previous day’s rate of N1,690.37.
Despite the currency’s appreciation, the total daily turnover fell to $128.59 million on Tuesday, a decline from $173.14 million recorded on Monday.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the naira traded within a range of N1,698 to N1,631 against the dollar.
