On Friday, the naira experienced a slight depreciation at the official market, closing at N1,652.25 against the dollar.
Data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform showed that the naira lost N2.05, marking a 0.12% decline compared to the previous day’s rate of N1,650.20 per dollar.
Despite the dip, the daily turnover increased significantly, reaching $296.63 million on Friday, up from $214.73 million recorded on Thursday.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira fluctuated, trading within a range of N1,620.00 to N1,699.00 per dollar.
