BREAKING: President Tinubu arrives Abuja after attending Arab-Islamic summit

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following his participation in the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic Summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The presidential aircraft landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The President was welcomed by a delegation of senior government officials, led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila.

During the summit, President Tinubu joined fellow Heads of State and leaders from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States to deliberate on the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.

In his remarks, Tinubu called for an immediate cessation of Israeli actions in Gaza, emphasizing the severe humanitarian toll of the conflict.

He also reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to a two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region.

After the summit, President Tinubu held a private meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Details of their conversation have not yet been made public.
