The wife of Baltasar Ebang Engonga, recently dismissed as Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has become embroiled in a scandal after a video surfaced showing her in an intimate act with another man.
The revelation was shared by popular social commentator Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on Instagram.
In his post, Ortse stated, “Just when I thought the drama was over regarding this Equatorial Guinea official, it has taken a new turn. I came across a video showing his wife with another man—it’s shocking to see how she was involved.”
The scandal comes on the heels of a separate investigation involving Engonga himself.
Authorities reportedly discovered over 400 explicit videos involving Engonga with various women during a probe into a fraud case.
The release of these videos has sparked widespread debate and controversy across social media platforms.
Reacting to the situation, Equatorial Guinea’s First Lady, Constancia Mangue Obiang, expressed her dismay over the unfolding scandal in a meeting with Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue.
Mrs. Obiang called for immediate action to safeguard the dignity and privacy of Equatoguinean women in light of the incident.
Engonga was subsequently relieved of his duties and taken into custody following the exposure of both the sex tapes and the affair involving his wife.
