Obaseki expresses willingness to cooperate with EFCC after tenure

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) once his tenure ends.

Obaseki made this statement during the EdoBEST National Results-Sharing Session in Abuja, noting that he has nothing to hide and remains focused on highlighting the achievements of his administration.

“I am not afraid of the EFCC. Why should I be? What matters is maintaining focus,” Obaseki said. “I took office and disregarded distractions, concentrating on what was important, and today, the results speak for themselves.”

The outgoing governor assured that if the EFCC requires his presence, he would willingly comply and “hand myself over” without hesitation.
