The naira declined on Wednesday in the official market, trading at N1,681.65 per dollar.
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange, which monitors the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the naira weakened by N10.33, marking a 0.61% drop compared to the previous day’s rate of N1,671.32 per dollar.
Additionally, the daily trading volume fell to $196.78 million, down from Tuesday’s turnover of $218.77 million.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira traded within a range of N1,690.00 to N1,620.00 against the dollar.
