The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reiterated President Bola Tinubu’s dedication to implementing ambitious and forward-thinking policies aimed at tackling Nigeria’s multifaceted challenges.
In a statement released on Monday in Abuja, Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, responded to remarks made by Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.
Morka highlighted that President Tinubu’s reform agenda is focused on building a robust, resilient, and prosperous economy for both current and future generations.
He emphasized that these reforms are essential for stabilizing the economy, attracting investment, enhancing the business climate, and alleviating poverty for millions.
He added that the reforms are projected to generate over N1 trillion annually for investments in critical sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social programs.
In reaction to Abubakar’s criticisms, Morka accused the former vice president of hypocrisy, asserting that his ongoing denunciation of the administration’s policies stems from self-serving partisan motives.
He pointed out that Abubakar’s proposed solutions are merely a reiteration of outdated and ineffective strategies that previously undermined the country during the PDP’s tenure.
Morka concluded by affirming that the Tinubu administration remains optimistic that, despite temporary economic challenges, enduring progress and brighter days lie ahead for all Nigerians.
