Again, national grid collapses, leave Nigerians in total darkness

Nigeria’s national power grid has experienced another devastating collapse, leaving the entire country in darkness.

This unfortunate collapse occurred at approximately 2:09 p.m. today, marking the ninth grid disturbance this year.

As a result, power generation has plummeted to zero megawatts, affecting homes and businesses nationwide.

This latest collapse comes on the heels of multiple grid failures in October, which prompted the Federal Government to promise a lasting solution to prevent future embarrassments.

However, it seems that a permanent fix is still elusive.

The current outage has brought the country’s power crisis back into the spotlight, highlighting the need for urgent action to address the infrastructure challenges plaguing Nigeria’s power sector.
