The Naira appreciated to N1,725 per dollar in the parallel market on Tuesday, improving from N1,730 per dollar the previous day.
In the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the Naira also gained value, reaching N1,630.45 per dollar, down from N1,670.65 per dollar on Monday.
This reflects a N40.20 increase in value.
Additionally, trading volume in the official market saw a significant rise, with turnover increasing by 198.8% to $242.59 million, compared to $81.17 million on Monday.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market and NAFEM rates expanded to N94.55 per dollar, up from N59.35 per dollar the day before.
