A magistrate court in Kuje, Abuja, has granted bail in the amount of N500,000 to Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives, following allegations of assault against Bolt driver Stephen Abuwatseya.
Ikwechegh was arraigned on Wednesday facing a three-count charge of assault and making threats to life, as filed by the Office of the Inspector-General of Police. The federal lawmaker pleaded not guilty to the charges.
