The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the passing of Mr. Isaiah Edegbo, a senior staff member at its National Secretariat.
Edegbo died on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Abuja, as confirmed by the party’s national publicity secretary, Felix Morka.
Mr. Edegbo, who was 48 years old and hailed from Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, served as a Deputy Director in the Organization Department of the National Secretariat.
His educational journey included attending CMML Primary School in Anyigba from 1981 to 1986, followed by Kizito Seminary in Idah from 1986 to 1992. He later studied at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a Diploma in Civil Law in 1997, an LL.B (Hons) in 2003, an LL.M in Public Law in 2016, and was working towards a PhD in Commercial Law.
Although trained as a lawyer, Isaiah Edegbo was known as a diligent and reliable team member, playing a key role in the successful conduct of numerous party congresses, conventions, and election activities.
“He will be sorely missed,” Morka stated in the announcement.
