The Presidency has announced the appointment of Shehu Dikko as the new Chairman of the National Sports Commission.
Dikko, a prominent figure in Nigerian sports administration, is expected to lead efforts to enhance sports development and promote greater investment in the sector.
In addition, the Presidency also named Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.
Dare, who will be operating from the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, is tasked with overseeing public communication strategies and ensuring effective national orientation.
These appointments are part of the much-awaited President Tinubu’s cabinet reshuffle and the ongoing efforts of the federal government to strengthen key sectors and improve public engagement across the country.
