The National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which was originally planned for October 24, 2024, has been postponed.
Addressing the party’s internal issues and selecting a new acting National Chairman were the two main goals of the meeting.
Following a Tuesday evening stakeholder meeting, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who is also the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, made the news.
The National Working Committee (NWC), members of the Party’s Board of Trustees, and Acting National Chairman Iliya Damagum attended the meeting, which decided to move the NEC meeting to November 28, 2024.
Mohammed said that the postponement enables the party to concentrate on the November 16, 2024, Ondo gubernatorial election.
