The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, has apprehended ten individuals for allegedly vandalizing critical national assets and infrastructure in the region.
During a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, NSCDC FCT Commandant Dr. Olusola Odumosu reported that the suspects were detained at various locations for vandalizing street lights, bridges, and telecommunication masts.
Dr. Odumosu condemned those purchasing stolen items, emphasizing that such actions contribute to ongoing vandalism. He stated, “Investigations are underway to identify the key players behind these activities.”
The commandant assured that those found guilty would face prosecution and urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to security agencies.
