Stellamaris, the widow of late Nigerian actor, John Okafor well known as Mr Ibu, has taken to social media to remember him on his first birthday after his death.
AFRIPOST gathered that the late entertainer would have turned 63 today October 17, 2024.
Recall that Mr Ibu died on March 2, 2024, after a long illness, which caused great sadness across the country.
To honor his first birthday after passing, Mr. Ibu’s wife shared several photos of them together on her Instagram. She wrote a heartfelt message to go with the pictures.
Stellamaris mentioned that this is the first birthday they are apart, and she feels his absence deeply. She also noted that her late husband always loved celebrating his birthdays.

“Today is my late husband’s birthday (Mr IBU) This will mark the first birthday without him celebrating with us here.I can’t forget how he used to cherished and celebrate his birthdays… We miss him so much. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace Amen 🙏.”
