This development was announced in a statement released on Friday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.

Today, the governor has delivered on his commitment, with the 1,000 desks now in place at the school, significantly improving the conditions for both students and teachers. This action highlights Governor Yusuf’s unwavering dedication to enhancing the educational sector and ensuring student welfare across Kano State.

The chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Governor’s College, Alhaji Muhammad Sani, expressed his gratitude for the governor’s swift intervention, commending his efforts to prioritize education and provide critical resources to schools.

AFRIPOST reports that this donation is part of Governor Yusuf’s broader initiative to revamp Kano State’s educational infrastructure, ensuring that schools across the state are equipped to provide quality education to all students.
