The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPCL) group chief executive officer, Mele Kyari has lost his 25-year-old daughter.
As of the time this news was filed, there were few details available on her demise; however, according to NAN, Fatima died on Friday.
The CEO has received condolences from Vice-President Kashim Shettima over the tragedy.
Shettima begged God to give the family the fortitude to endure their daughter’s tragic passing in her prime as he prayed for the departed to rest in peace.
NAN further reports that the vice president led other mourners at the funeral prayer, held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
