Lazarus Mouka, pastor of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Ministries, has cautioned worshippers against offering or donating ill-gotten or fraudulent money to the church.
The charismatic preacher issued this warning during a two-day revival at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos State. The event, themed “Wonderful Move of God as of Old,” aimed to reignite the faithful’s awareness of God’s enduring power and bring blessings to individuals and the nation.
The revival, which began on Saturday, featured numerous testimonies, deliverance sessions, and prayers for the congregation, and concluded on Sunday with a festive atmosphere.
During his sermon, Pastor Mouka emphasized that money acquired through dishonest means remains unacceptable to God and should not be offered to support the church’s work.
He noted that the pursuit of wealth had led many people to engage in sinful activities, cautioning that such tainted money should not be used for offerings or donations.
“Do not provoke God’s anger by defiling the holy temple with fraudulent wealth. It is an abomination in His sight. Instead, seek repentance, make restitution, and be saved before it’s too late,” he advised.
Earlier in the event, Udoka Amakaeze, a former inmate, shared his testimony of being acquitted and released from the Badagry Correctional Centre after turning to God. He explained that he found salvation after encountering the Chosen Prison Outreach, and following his spiritual transformation, his legal case took a divine turn, leading to his release.
