A former Senate Majority leader, Jonathan Zwingina has been reported dead.
Though the family has not confirmed his death yet, dependable sources disclosed that the Adamawa State-born politician died on Wednesday, October 2, in the nation’s capital, Abuja, a Daily Post reported had claimed.
The source described his demise as a great loss to the Nungurala people, Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
Senator Jonathan Zwingina was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who represented Adamawa Southern Senatorial District two terms (1999-2007) but later defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He turned 70 years about two months ago, August 2024
