God has high expectations on humanity – Omoyayi

Must read

Human beings are not created for fun but to be fruitful, productive and be ready to fulfill God’s plans for humanity.

The sermon was delivered by Reverend Canon Samuel Olayinka Omoyayi during the wake- keep service for late Surveyor Joseph Segun Oladejo at the Cathedral of St Peter, Aremo, Ibadan hall.

The statement was contained in the press release issued and signed by the Ibadan North Anglican Diocesan Communicator, Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade.

The cleric while addressing the gathering, said that God created human beings to bear the fruits of peace, love for one another, assistance to the neediest, to be responsible at any position we find ourselves and above all to be law abiding and give respect and honour to the constituted authorities.

“And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it and dung it, if it bear fruit, well and if not, then after that thou shall cut it down ” meaning that God is giving us chance hoping that we will amend our ways and repent our evil doings, that whoever receives God blessings mercies but refuse to use them for God and humanity will be removed like the fig tree that bears no fruit.

The cleric urged the congregation to use their wealth for the betterment of all and sundry.

“In heaven, we are equal before God, for you to be richer than the others is through the grace and opportunity and should not misuse it by being self centered, he further stressed”.
