An Ibadan Chief, Engineer Dotun Sanusi has disclosed that the influence and contributions of a former governor of Oyo state, Oba (Senator) have shaped the history and future of the state.
Sanusi who doubled as the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland made this disclosure on Wednesday.
Sanusi while felicitating with Ladoja who clocked 80 years on Wednesday, extended warm congratulations to Ladoja.
The Ibadan Chief while speaking, praised Senator Ladoja for his unwavering dedication to public service and the significant impact he has had the state
He thanked the former governor for upholding and preserving the rich traditional institution of Ibadan.
Sanusi lauded the former governor’s remarkable contributions, both as a political leader and as a prominent figure within the Ibadan traditional hierarchy.
He said, “Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja is a leader whose influence and contributions have shaped the history and future of Oyo State.
“His commitment to upholding the values and integrity of the Ibadan traditional institution is truly commendable”.
Sanusi expressed his belief that Senator Ladoja’s leadership would further solidify the progress and accomplishments of the Ibadan traditional institution.
“May Allah grant Senator Rashidi Ladoja the health and agility to fulfill his duties and lead the Ibadan traditional council to greater heights. His wisdom and experience will undoubtedly bring more achievements and prosperity to our cherished institution”.
