The Muslim Community of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital has announced that its Annual Moulid Nabiyy celebration will be held on September 15th, 2024.
The event is expected to take place at Ilaji International Mini Stadium.
Our correspondent reports that the Moulid Nabiyy is a significant event in the Islamic calendar, celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The event according to the organisers provides an opportunity for the Muslim faithful to come together in reflection, prayers, and thanksgiving, honoring the Prophet’s legacy of peace, compassion, and unity.
The organisers noted that this year’s celebration will be filled with spiritually enriching occasion, with religious scholars, community leaders, and distinguished guests.
The organisers added that the programmes will include Quranic recitations, special prayers, and insightful sermons, all focused on promoting harmony and moral values within the community.
