A new Head of Department has been appointment at the Department of Social Work, University of Ibadan.
The new HOD has assumed office.
Our correspondent gathered that the new HOD, Associate Professor Mobolaji Isaiah Ojedokun assumed office on Thursday, 1st August, 2024.
Ojedokun succeeded Professor Titilola Adebowale whose tenure ended on 31st July, 2024.
The new HOD is a member of Association of Social Work Educators of Nigeria (ASWEN) and other professional bodies.
Ojedokun while speaking on assumption of office, promised to uphold the vision and legacies of the founders of the department.
He also promised to make the department a reference point in the country.
He used the opportunity to thank his colleagues, other staff in the department and the students for the confidence reposed in him.
