A three-man panel of the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal has ordered Multichoice Nigeria to give subscribers on the DStv and GOtv platforms one month of free subscription.
The tribunal also fined Multichoice N150 million for challenging the jurisdiction of the court, which the tribunal.
DAILY POST reported that the CCPT had stopped Multichoice Nigeria Limited from increasing its subscription tariffs and cost of products and services scheduled to begin on May 1.
