The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Ogun state chapter of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Comrade Omokehinde Olayemi Olowu has alerted the public that the former Chairman of the party, Olaposi Sunday Oginni and his cohorts are running away from answering police invitation.
The party’s image maker noted that the former Chairman and his colleagues are on the run having violated the court order which confirmed their expulsion from the party.

The party’s image maker has however alleged that the former Chairman and his cohorts are currently on the run.
Olowu in a statement said that Oginni, along with other expelled members who were illegally parading themselves as party’s executive in the State were invited by the Ogun State Police Command to defend allegations leveled against them by the party’s National Working Committee.
He said that the former Chairman and his colleagues are running away from answering police invitation.
Olowu emphasized that Oginni’s credibility is questionable, asserting that he is not qualified to speak for the party due to his expulsion for anti-party activities.
He argued that Oginni is impersonating the National Secretary’s office and emphasized that General Dipo Olayokun is the legitimate office folder.
Olowu emphasized that Prince Ibrahim Adekunle is the authentic chairman of the party in Ogun State.
“Oginni, why are you running away from honouring the invitation sent to you by the police.
“If you don’t have any suspicious skeletons in your cupboard.
“The self-acclaimed party chairman, Gabriel Somoye was invited by the police to be interrogated and verified his acclaimed position.
“He honoured the invitation and was allowed to go home after promising to bring along all other petitioned members for interrogation and resolution of the dispute against the bona fide members of the party”.
