The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Thursday evening failed to beat Lesotho in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The match held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, ended 1-1 draw.
The first half ended in a 0-0 draw
Lesotho opened the second half, scoring through Motlomelo Mkhwanazi in the 56th minute.
However, Semi Ajayi’s header helped the Super Eagles to catch up in the 67th minute.
The match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw after full-time, as both teams shared a point each.
Nigeria will now face Zimbabwe in their next game on Sunday.
