The Social Democratic Party, SDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Muritala Ajaka has alleged that the results sheets for the ongoing election for some local government areas of the state are missing.

While addressing journalists after casting his vote at Idah local government area of Kogi State, Ajaka disclosed that three local governments in the Central Senatorial Zones of the state are missing.

Ajaka, however, described the electoral arrangement as perfect, commending the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for its good work.

He also commended President Bola Tinubu for fulfilling his promise to provide security for voters during the election.

“We thank the President. He promised us security and we are seeing the security”

On the missing results sheets, Ajaka said, “Original result sheets for Okehi, Adavi and Okene local government areas in the central senatorial zone are missing.”

The SDP candidate claimed that the staff of INEC in the three local government areas had been compromised.
