President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, returned to Nigeria on Friday, after attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting ended last week.
Criticism were begining to emerge over the whereabouts of the president who it was rumoured departed New York on September 22.
It was equally rumoured that the president departed for Paris, France after the meeting ended.
At the UNGA, Tinubu addressed the General Assembly and called on world leaders to join African nations in tackling its challenges.
