After a long silence, Malian Record Label boss, Naira Marley has spoken up, assuring Nigerians that he will return to Nigeria to clear his name.
Recall that the whereabouts of Naira Marley has recently become a subject of controversy following the death of MohBad, his ex-signee.
Also, on the watch list of Nigerians who believe MohBad was killed is Sammy Larry.
But Naira Marley in a statement he personally signed and posted on his Instagram handle Tuesday evening insisted he had no hand in the death of his former signee, MohBad.
He went further to disclose that he left the country on August 31st and now making arrangement in order to return and help the police in the ongoing investigation.
Naira said he was not responsible for MohBad’s death, hence cannot be a fugitive in another country.
He expressed worries that some persons have been after him for the reasons best known to them so that he could be lynched by Nigerians.
He said he was sure that he will be vindicated at last.
Naira Marley also denied that he operates a drug cartel, stating that he is into a legitimate record label business.
