Dj Kaywise clears air on “suicide” post

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Kaywise has cleared the air on a post he made on his Instagram page that looked like a suicide notice.

The DJ had in an IG post said he was ending it by 9pm as he did his best. His post reads with a black background: “I will end it all by 9pm. I did my best!! ”

His comment had raised series of concerns among his fans and stakeholders in the music industry. They had sort to know his state of health, even as social media users began to check up on the DJ to know exactly what he planned to do by 9pm. Many had concluded it was a suicide note.

The popular DJ did not respond to calls and text messages forwarded to him by concerned Nigerians but waited till exactly 9pm and released a video detailing his battle with the rest of his family members.

According to him, he had been accused severally in the past eight months by families and some persons over his relationship with his woman he refered to as Nenny.

He said the essence of the video was clear certain issues that started in January. He said a particular blog had posted a malicious story about him regarding his relationship with his family and had tagged him suicidal.

He said it was right to clear the air after 8 months of being accused of slapping his mother, bewitched and also went as far as saying that he was kidnapped.

He said he could not respond until after 8 months to truly see anyone from among his family coming out to testify to the fact the he slapped his mother. But that nobody came out, just as they did not also come out to defend him against what was published against him.

He accused a certain blog of doing a poor job without checking their facts.

He recounted the allegation against him by his family that Nenny had bewitched and kidnapped him. He said it was laughable for his family to try to mend fence with him while at the same time tarnishing the image of another man’s daughter.

He regretted that his family members were till date dinning and winning with those who tried to kidnap his girlfriend years ago.

He that, ” You cannot want to settle with your own child at the detriment of another’s reputation. Because that’s that’s someone else’s child they are talking about. And I believe they could have done better.”

He, however, concluded that now that, ” You have gotten the facts, family will always find a way to sort themselves no matter what. Please drink water and take care of yours and please always check your facts before you jump into any conclusions,” he said.

His post has elicited reactions from fans who said he could have communicated the same message about his intending video without necessary talking about ending it all by 9pm.

Most of them believed that he used MohBad’s death to chase clout.
