Suspected gunmen believed to be cultists terrorizing parts of Rivers State Friday brutally killed a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Bako Amgbanshin.
The incident which occurred during the late hour in Ahoada East Local Government Area of the State left the entire local government in shock.
Report claims the DPO and his men were ambushed while on an operation to raid some criminal hideouts in the Ahoada East axis.
The operatives had engaged the cultists in a gun duel, but the DPO was captured, killed and his body dismembered.
An internet viral video on Friday night showed how Angbanshin’s head, hand and private part were severed.
