3 goals from Kanu, Ohale and Oshoala were enough to push the Falcons to the next stage of the competition.
The Falcons now have 4 points from two games.
Recall that the Falcons had played a goaless draw with Canada in their first game.
Australia’s earlier goal and the last twoards the end of the game were not enough to hold down the Nigerians.
