Ajibola Ekor Ubi, a chieftain of the labour party, has doubted the possibility of the Labour Party (LP) presidential flagbearer in the last elections in the country, Mr Peter Obi in getting fair judgement in the ongoing judicial adjudication in his lawsuits which seeks for an outright removal of President Bola Tinubu from office.
Ubi who doubled also the legal adviser of the labour party in Kuje area in Abuja, while speaking in a statement during the weekend, opined that Obi need to contend with principalities behind the corrupt systems Nigeria descended herself into be able to unseat the incumbent President.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, had declared Bola Tinubu, the candidate of Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, as the winner of Saturday’s presidential election.
Mr Tinubu defeated 17 other candidates who took part in the election.
He scored a total of 8,794,726 votes, the highest of all the candidates, thus meeting the first constitutional requirement to be declared the winner.
He also scored over 25 per cent of the votes cast in 30 states, more than the 24 states constitutionally required.
Dissatisfied by the outcome of the recently-concluded Nigeria presidential seat election, the LP and PDP candidates petitioned the tribunal, praying the court to nullify the declaration of the APC standard-bearer, Bola Tinubu as President elect of Nigeria and winner of the just-concluded february 25, 2023 presidential poll by the national electoral commission.
Earlier, Mr Ekor Ubi noted that the lawsuits instituted by Obi has gone beyond interpretation of law and thr validation of facts, regretting that the citizens are now in unconscionable system that makes the law, interpret the law, and enforce the law.
According to him, “As to the facts of the case, it’s the same system that supplies the facts. Of course, what did INEC do when we requested for the facts? They refused and began to disconfigure the Biomodal Voters Accreditation Verification Systems machines so as to distort the facts.
“My people you know what This is the system we are contending with. We’re contending against a cartel of oil bunkers and thieves. We’re up against systematic corruption.
“We’re contending against a class of people who have enriched themselves with people’s wealth. We’re contending against vested international interests.”
“We’re not fighting APC, Tinubu, and INEC per se at the tribunal, we are fighting a four–legged satanically inspired and empowered system,” he added.
Concluding, the LP legal adviser maintained that hiring a thousands sound Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) cannot turn the pendulum of an anti-clock-wise justice system to the people’s favour.
“It’s only a Daniel that can do that. We need a PRAYING DANIEL, who will contend with the principalities behind this hellish system and bring God’s hands down on the matter.
“God says, “I sought for a man among them who will stand in the gap. “Just one man like Daniel. Nigeria matter is not just a physical one. It’s more spiritual than physical.
“We desperately need a Daniel in the prosecution of this case than all the legal luminaries of our time. This is what we call the truth of the matter”, and nothing but the truth.”
