Hope in God alone – Ex-Governors aide preaches at 50

The Chief Executive Director of North-Cliff Hotel Limited, Chief Obinna Ekwuribe, popularly known as “Pirosiro”, clicked 50 yrs-old on Tuesday, 4th July.

Ekwuribe is a Knight of Saint Mulumba Roman Catholic Church Nigeria, and also doubles as the Chief Protocol to former Governor of Abia state, and the immediate representative of Abia central senatorial district at the 9th National Assembly, Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji (Ochendo Global).

However, at the recent well-attended get-to parley with teeming friends, business associates and well-wishers held at the north-cliff hotel’s playground in Umuahia capital city, the highly-elated celebrant, Obinna Ekwuribe, while speaking to his guests during the ceremony, expressed his immense gratitude God for his continued blessings, grace and mercies upon his life to witness another of the auspicious celebration of his 50th birthday.

He reminded his guests that God is the ultimate creator of heaven and earth as him alone remained the solid pillar of his successes, urging them to continue to keep their hope in the almighty creator and always pray and seek his divine intervention, direction and protection in any situation they find themselves today.

At 50, Chief Ekwuribe further expressed his utmost thanksgiving and appreciations to the almighty for guiding him and that of his immediate family, against weapons of the detractors.

The Abia Stalwart appreciated friends and well wishers who found time to attend the auspicious occasion of the celebration of his 50th birthday anniversary and prayed God to guide them in their journeys to respective destinations.

In their respective speeches, friends drawn from business and political circles, lauded the sterling human attributes of the celebrant (Pirosiro), who described him as a trusted ally, authentic confidant and jolly fellow.

They noted that Pirosiro as publicly known within and outside the Nigeria shoreshas been a point of contacts and connections to many people who came across him.

“And this singular outstanding human qualitiy of Pirosiro had engendered and provided employment or jobs to many Abia indigenes and non indigenes in federal and state ministries, departments, agencies and boards. He has had equally sponsored and trained many children from the state.

“Pirosiro has not relent in his uncommon philanthropic gestures and services to the less privileged and many poor homes. It’s on record that Pirosiro had offered financial assistance to people whom many are now running a small scale business enterprises and business shop owners.

“Time will not permit to speak further on the tremendous gestures towards enhancement of livelihoods and general welfare of people who come in contact with him. He is humane, generous and jolly fellow who always play with anyone, both the average and the highly placed.

“So, i must use this great medium to congratulate Obinna Ekwuribe who is widely known by we, the friends and business associates as Pirosiro on occasion of the celebration of his 50th birthday anniversary and pray almighty God to grant him many more lives, more abundant riches, strengths and directions in all his daily activities and services to the common people in the society”.

Later during the event, the guests were treated to local music by groups of traditional drummers.
