Ribadu assumes office as NSA 

Nuhu Ribadu has formally assumed office as the National Security Adviser, NSA, after taking over from Maj Gen Babagana Monguno.

Ribadu who was earlier appointed as Special Adviser on Security to Tinubu was later announced as the new NSA.

Ribadu promised to live up to the expectations of Nigerians and thanked Tinubu for renewing the hope of a more secure nation.

 

The new NSA was a former boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
