Following the recent attack by Boko Haram insurgents, Zah community is gradually regaining normalcy. The Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, has reassured the community that police outposts across Adamawa state will soon be reopened to enhance security in the area.
During his visit to the affected community in Hong LGA, where several lives were lost, motorcycles were stolen, and houses, including a Pastor’s house and an EYN church building, were destroyed by the insurgents, CP Babatola made this announcement.
The Commissioner of Police emphasized that all the previously closed down outpost police stations would be reopened simultaneously to ensure the safety of lives and property.
“We will begin by upgrading the Garaha police station and increasing the number of personnel,” stated CP Babatola, highlighting the efforts being made to strengthen security measures in the area.
