The Abia State Government on Sunday, said its attention has been drawn that some officials of the immediate past administration in the state, including appointees are still holding government properties.
In a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Kenneth Kalu, the government’s properties include vehicles, generators, laptop computers and other assets.
The Government hereby directed anyone in possession of the properties to return such to the office of the secretary to the state government on or before 4 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, and obtain necessary acknowledgment from the office.
“Please note that failure to comply with this directive will attract sanctions,” the release added.
