The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has said it’s not in support of the new pump price of petrol fixed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
The current pump price of the product is between 480 to 600 Naira per liter.
Garba Deen Muhammad, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd, had said the price adjustment was made in line with “market realities”.
But in reaction, the NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, told journalists at the Labour House, Abuja, on Wednesday, that the congress would not accept that.
According to him, fixing it price is not what government could do unilaterally.
